A man has been arrested by the Richland County Sheriff’s Department in connection with death of his pregnant wife who was found dead at her home on Wednesday. The man named Jerrod Graham was charged with murder and injury to a child in uterus by committing a violent crime. Deputies found the woman during the welfare check after 11 a.m. at a home on Northfield Court.
Deputies entered the house forcefully and found a woman lying with severe trauma to her head where she was pronounced dead. The woman is identified as Chandreka D. Graham of age 31 years, resident of Columbia. After finding the woman dead, Jerrod Graham was taken to a facility after being identified as a suspect. He was then released on Thursday and taken to the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center. The investigation is still going on.
