A woman from Miami has been arrested on Sunday after doing an armed robbery at Mercy Supermarket. As per the reports, the woman named Sheina Reyes of age 36 years knocked at the front door of the supermarket situated at 6600 Biscayne Blvd. when clerk was cleaning the market on June 18. When the clerk unlocked the door, she and two masked burglars entered the store and pushed the clerk behind the counter.

The clerk was being held at gunpoint and one burglar took money from the cash register and lottery tickets from a room in the back. “He’s lucky he was not shot,” Asad Hossain, another clerk who works at the market, said. When the thieves took cash and fled away from the store, the clerk flagged down and called the police. He initially told that thieves did not taken anything. The clerk was then transported to North Shore Hospital by Miami Fire due to gash on the back of his head.

After seeing the CCTV footage, the officials identified Reyes walking to the store followed by two other thieves. Then the officials arrested her from Northwest 27th Avenue and 55th Terrace. She faces four charges: one count of felony armed robbery with a fireman or deadly weapon, one count of felony burglary with assault or battery, one count of felony aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, and one count of failure to have a vehicle registration.

Reyes was being held at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center without bond.
