As the search approaches its fourth month, the father of a missing kid from Tennessee is requesting that the FBI take charge of it. Sebastian Rogers, 15, vanished on February 26 from the Sumner County, Tennessee, residence of his mother and stepfather. Since there were no indications of a break-in, authorities assumed the boy had departed of his own volition.

With respect to the adolescent, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has issued an Amber Alert, stating that he has “a medical condition that may impair his ability to return safely without assistance.” During a vigil on Sunday, Seth Rogers, the teen’s father, stated that he wanted the FBI to take over as the primary agency investigating the case, according to WKRN. Only at the FBI can things get really started.

The sheriff’s office is currently leading the case but FBI and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation are also assisting the case. “I don’t sense a state of urgency from them; it’s not their kid, it’s mine. You know, this is a child of Sumner County,” Seth Rogers said. “I tell people when you see something, say something, and then they turn around and they tell me that they see something and they never get a response.”
