A man from Bolingbrook was reported missing since 2022 and now found in Chicago in dead condition as per the reports released by Oswego Police.
According to police, the man named Edward Gardner of age 21 years was reported missing on March 14,2022 and was last seen on March 13, 2022 in Chicago. After two weeks of filing of report, Edward’s rented white Dodge Charger was found in a crash happened in Hammond, Indiana. The people who were present inside it ran away from crash, hence police did not believed if Edward was there or not.
According to Oswego police, Edward’s body was located on March 20 in the Englewood neighborhood’s 6000-block of South Sangamon Street, but he was identified on Tuesday. Oswego police is still investigating the case of Edward’s death.
“During this challenging time, we ask the public to keep Mr. Gardner’s family and loved ones in their thoughts and prayers,” police said in a statement. “While the missing persons investigation has concluded, the investigation into Mr. Gardner’s death remains ongoing. The Oswego Police Department will continue to collaborate with the appropriate.”
