In order to discuss and almost finalized draft of a deal between Washington and Riyadh, Mohammed bin Salman, Saudi Crown Prince and National Security adviser of White House, Jake Sullivan met in the Saudi city of Dhahran. According to a statement by reports the meeting has reviewed  “the semi-final version of the draft strategic agreements between the two countries, which are almost being finalized.”

The President Joe Biden’s top security and de facto Saudi leader has also discussed the need to find a track in order to bring the two-state solution for Israel and the Palestinians. This is discussed to stop the war against Hamas militants in Gaza and to facilitate the entry of humanitarian aid in the affected areas.

In order to achieve a long lasting peace and security in the region of war, Sullivan would visit Saudi Arabia and Israel to discuss bilateral and regional matters. Saudi Arabia is not a candidate aimed for nuclear pact typically aiming at building nuclear power plant because it is the world’s largest oil exporter.

But the kingdom is opposing the view and seeking to generate substantial renewable energy and reduce emissions for a long-term plan. While the opponents said that Riyadh may want nuclear expertise for future if in case they wish to acquire nuclear weapons.
