Along with three people killed in Haiti, a US missionary couple were also included due to Haiti gang’s widespread violence that continue to plague the country. 21 years old Natalie Llyod and her husband David, 23-years-old were ambushed by gunmen as soon as they left a church. The couple’s death was confirmed by Natalie’s father on Facebook. “They were attacked by gangs this evening and were both killed,” he wrote. “They went to heaven together.”
The couple got married in 2022. Their organization named Missions in Haiti confirmed to US media that the third victim is Mr. Montis. The organization also informed that the couple were attacked by two separate armed groups. They started with an attack by gunmen in three vehicles. After that another group arrived there and a gang member was shot dead, the three were then hide themselves in a house when the gang went “into full tank mode”. They were then dead three hours later.
