According to Dakota County police enforcement, on Wednesday, a “person of interest” connected to the missing woman’s inquiry was taken into custody on an unrelated warrant. On Wednesday, July 10, in the City of Randolph, the boyfriend’s residence was searched by deputies from the Dakota County Sheriff’s Office. According to reports, her 42-year-old partner was the subject of a felony body-only arrest warrant issued by Le Sueur County for violating his probation.
Since the early hours of July 6, Nicole “Nikki” Anderson, 56, has not been seen. Around 10 a.m., according to the authorities, she was last seen walking out of her house. According to the Dakota County Sheriff’s Office, Anderson’s boyfriend was a “person of interest” in the missing inquiry and they knew each other well.
After the search, the man turned himself in at the location even though he was not at home. Following his warrant-related arrest, the individual was questioned regarding Anderson’s disappearance. The individual will be released to LeSueur County for the warrant, according to the Dakota County Sheriff’s Office, and is presently being held at the Dakota County Jail.
Searches for Anderson are still ongoing, according to the authorities, and the man is not being detained on any criminal charges connected to her abduction. A Randolph home’s yard was also searched by investigators, but they were unable to find anything there. The house where she was last seen, the land, and the neighborhood were all examined by authorities on July 8 by the means of foot and by air using canines, drones and helicopters but Anderson could not be located.
