Former fixer of Donal Trump named Michael Cohen admits that he has stolen money from Trump’s company at the US President’s hush trial which could harm his credibility as a star. Cohen admitted stealing when Trump’s lawyer Blanche questioned him. After being questioned, Cohen said that he has stolen money from the Trump Organization by including a reimbursement to a technology company into his bonus package and has pocketed most of the money.
Blanche asked, “So you stole from the Trump Organization, right?” and Cohen said, “Yes Sir”. Cohen said, “I had paid roughly $20,000 of the $50,000 that Trump’s company owes to the tech company in cash, handling it off in a brown paper at my office.” He then said that he had kept the rest and was reimbursed with $100,000 total by the Trump Organization for that payment.
Cohen was the one and only witness of the incident for the lawyers and after his testimony concludes, Trump’s lawyer will get chance to present their own evidences and witnesses. It is not made clear if Trump will take stand against Cohen or not.
