Two payments of the Social Security will be received by the receivers in the month of May by the Social Security Administration. The payments will be received by those beneficiaries who are American and are 65 years of age and older. It also includes the qualified adults and children with certain disabilites. These payments will be received in different parts, such as:
- May 3: Beneficiaries who born before May 1997 will receive their Social Security benefit on May 3.
- May 8: Beneficiaries whose birthday falls between first and 10th of any month.
- May 15: Beneficiaries who are having birthday between 11th and 20th of any month.
- May 22: Beneficiaries who are having their birthday between 21st and 31st of any month.
The beneficiaries who used to receive their payment in June will not receive it in June, they will receive it some days earlier in May. As there will be no distribution of payments in June.
The regular schedule of payment will resume in July but May is not last time when this kind of payment scheduling happening. This will again happen in the months off August, November and December.
