During a flight of Qatar Airways from Doha to Dublin, 12 people got injured due to turbulence on Sunday. The flight then landed in Dublin, 1 hour before local time had faced emergency services, such as airport police, the fire and the rescue department. Six passengers and six crew members were injured this incident and eight were taken to the hospital for medical treatment. While flying over Turkey, the Qatar Airways flight QR017 experienced turbulence.

Due to this the departure got delayed from Dublin as it was expected to go back to Doha but the flight got landed safely in Dublin as per the reports. But “a small number of passengers and crew sustained minor injuries in flight and are now receiving medical attention.” Said by Qatar Airways in a statement. “The matter is now subject to an internal investigation,” the statement continued. “The safety and security of our passengers and crew are our top priority.”

It happened a day after when 104 passengers were injured and a man with heart condition died on a Singapore Airlines flight when hit with severe turbulence. The flight named SQ321 from London to Singapore dropped down several hundred feet on Tuesday.
