Death of Mandisa Hundley, a Christian singer was announced by a medical examiner on Tuesday. She was found dead in her Tennessee home on April 18 at the age of 47 years. Autopsy reports declared that the Grammy-winning singer died from complications of class III obesity and her manner of death was listed as natural.

Mandia was born in Citrus Heights, California and was a member of the famed Fisk University Jubilee singers in Nashville, she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in music in 2000 there only. In 2005, she gave audition for “American Idol” in Chicago where she had finished the final nine. She debut on the top Christian album charts led by her first single, “Only the World” and her first album was “True Beauty” in July 2007. Mandisa also won the 56th Grammy Award in 2022.
