As said by Dr. Johnson, “Based on the nature of the wound, that it is consistent with a self-inflicted gunshot wound. And it was not in the back of the head, as it has been speculated.”

Dr. Johnson also reveled that he was not the on-call medical examiner of Miller’s death but he visited the scene as an assistant of on-call medical examiner. He is currently serving for the North Carolina Office of the Chief Medical Examiner. He also asked “for everyone to please await the full timeline of events before making assumptions and coming to conclusions.”
