A 4-year-old girl named Erin Brunett’s body has been found by the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff and her sister, Jalie Brunett of 6 years was found alive. The suspect in their kidnapping is Daniel Callihan who was arrested in Jackson, Mississippi. They were found in Mississippi where Jalie was found a few years from her sister’s body. Erin was found in a car driven by Daniel Callihan and inside that vehicle Jalie was alive. She was then taken to nearby hospital for treatment of minor injuries she had.
Chief of the Jackson Police Department, Joseph Wade said, “You don’t want to see that as a police chief; you don’t want to see that as a father. A coward took this child from her family.” Jackson PD and the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation is involved in the investigation of this case.
As per the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s office, body of 35-year-old Callie Brunett was found in her home at 56044 N after being brutally murdered and before this she was missing for 24 hours. Her two children Erin and Jalie was found missing since then. Their father entered into Brunett’s home and discovered her body and her missing children. Brunett’s car is also missing which is black 2012 Chrysler 200 with Louisiana license plate 859GML.
