The corpse of a teenage swimmer who vanished at Blind Pass Beach on Tuesday morning has been discovered, according to the Sanibel Police Department. The adolescent has been identified by the authorities as Cape Coral resident Isaac Breese, 17.

Sanibel Police Chief William Dalton asked on Friday night to “keep him and his family in your prayers on behalf of all the first responders involved.”

Thursday afternoon was the discovery of the teen’s body. Three adolescents went out to the sandbar on Tuesday, according to Sanibel Fire and Rescue, and Breese was carried away by a powerful tide. Two youngsters, a girl and a boy, were saved by a rescue swimmer who arrived on the scene.

Breese was sought after by the Coast Guard, Sanibel, Captiva, Lee County, and first responders were searching from a long time until his body found on Thursday afternoon.
